We are a family owned and operated SBE Certified, K-31 licensed masonry company specializing in residential and commercial masonry site work and block fences and walls, and have obtained an SBE (Small Business Enterprise) rating through the City of Phoenix.
With over 5000 customers, over 300 miles of block fences and over 40 years of experience, Sunset Fence, Inc. knows and understands what our customers’ masonry needs are. We are current with the masonry building codes and permit requirements, and are happy to say that our minimum standards exceed most city codes.
We understand how important your home and privacy are to you. Most residential block fence jobs involving removing an old wood or concrete panel fence are completed in an average of 2 days from start to finish.
Our employees have been fingerprinted and have obtained Level 1 Security Clearances allowing us to work at schools, detention centers, hospitals and other high security locations. We have worked at such locations as the Phoenix VA Hospital, Sabis International School, Chandler Ball Academy, Seton High School, Valley Christian High School, Blackwater School, as well Gilbert Police Station and Chandler Police and Fire Departments.
Our employees are all very much involved in the community. We have donated block walls to Habitat for Humanity, Friends 4 Life Animal Shelter, Head Start Preschool in Guadalupe, Seaton High School and Valley Christian High School. In addition, our families volunteer countless hours with the AZ Humane Society, 4-H, NCL, Make-A-Wish and many other charities. Our employees are much appreciated by our company and the community.
Our Family was featured on the cover of the “Warner Wrangler” a local newspaper serving the Kyrene Area, in November 2009.

Meet the Sunset Team:
Bob McPeters: After working as a union mason for several years, Bob McPeters started his own company, Sunset Fence, in 1977. Bob has actively participated with both the Arizona Masonry Guild and the Arizona Masonry Contractor’s Association. He even previously served on the BOD for the AZ Masonry Guild. Bob brings 40 years of construction experience to Sunset Fence, Inc. He treats every project as if it was for his own backyard.
Bob is very much a family man and is thankful that Sunset Fence has afforded him to be able to sponsor not only his kids, but others also involved in the activities they enjoy, such as 4-H Dog Shows, Motocross and BMX
His hobbies include scuba diving, riding his motorcycle, history, playing the guitar, spending time with the family and hanging out with his faithful border terrier dog, Gnarly.
Bob Corelli: Bob Corelli joined the Sunset Team in 1999 after meeting Bob McPeters at church. Bob is our main residential estimator/consultant and residential project manager.
Shawn McPeters: Shawn was born and raised in the construction industry. He earned his BA in Business and Spanish at ASU and after a desk job in corporate America, he returned to his roots. Shawn operates our sister company, Sunset Gates, LLC (www.sunsetgates.com) and provides the gates for our customers.
Amy Dickey: Amy was also born and raised in the family business. She earned her degree in Social Work and after working with the homeless in Phoenix for 5 years, decided to return to ASU for degrees in Journalism and Communications. She then worked at a Corporate desk job for 9 years before becoming a mom. When it was time to return to work, working with the family company came easy for Amy. Construction is in her blood. Amy is our office manager and is most likely the one who will answer the phones when you call. When she isn’t in the office, Amy enjoys time with her husband and three kids and she loves animals. Her family is a foster family for the Arizona Humane Society and they always have foster kittens at their house during the summer. In addition to showing her own dogs in both conformation and performance events, Amy is also a 4-H dog project leader and enjoys teaching kids how to train and show their own dogs.
Alex: Alex has been with our company for over 25 years. He is a lead foreman for us. He is a skilled mason who has an eye for perfection. Alex and his brother Jorge have been part of the Sunset Team since the 1980s.
Eduardo: Eduardo is a wonderful skilled mason who pays close attention to detail. He is a lead foreman for us and has been with us for over 15 years. Over the years Eduardo has won several masonry competition awards through the Arizona Masonry Guild, including “Fastest Trowel on the Block.”
